Rules for adding a company

Adding a company to the GONMAP project (https://gonmap.com), hereinafter referred to as the "Project" or "Platform", means that the user fully agrees with these Rules.

The company is added via a special addition form https://gonmap.com/add

Important

  • Posting detailed information about your company will provide you with a greater number of queries for which potential customers from Google and other search engines can find your organization, as well as visitors to the GONMAP directory.

  • Must post only reliable information. The User is personally responsible for the posted information.

  • In the process of entering information about your company, we recommend that you follow the following rules.

GENERAL INFORMATION

"Company Name" is required to be filled in, the name is indicated without quotation marks, the organizational and legal form does not need to be specified.

"Business Category / Subcategory" is required. To make it easier to find your company, specify the maximum number of its types of activities (a possible number of 1-10). First, select the main activity of your company.

ADDRESS

"Address line" must be filled in. Specify the address strictly in this format, for example 1581 Webster St Ste 235. The fields “ZIP codes", “City", “State" are also required.

COMPANY CONTACTS

"Phone" is required. You can specify several company phone numbers in the format (XXX) XXX-XXXX, for example (718) 903-0094.

"Website" must be filled in if you want to complete identification.

DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY

"About the Business" is required. Write in detail about your company: the history, the date of foundation, what you do, your achievements and strong competencies.

"Price Range" must be filled in. Specify which price category your services/ products belong to.

"Business features and more" is required. Specify your business features, amenities, and advantages. You can choose up to 20 features from the suggested options.

"Company Keywords"

  • Keywords help users find you on GONMAP. Keywords (phrases) are products or services related to your company's activities.

  • Start typing a word and use the hints. If the hints do not appear, press Enter. 

  • You can paste several key phrases from the buffer, separated by a comma, and press Enter. 

  • You must enter a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 80 keywords.

"Company Photos"

  • The maximum image size is 2 Mb.

  • The maximum number of images is 20.

  • Possible formats: png, jpg, jpeg.

Important

  • The image must belong to the company and be authentic. It is forbidden to use images that have nothing to do with the company, its trademark or brand.

  • The image must not be animated, and images containing any confidential information, including phone numbers, Internet addresses, postal addresses, e-mail, and more, are prohibited.

  • It is prohibited to post images to children under 13 years of age.

  • It is prohibited to post images with pornographic and erotic content.

"Your email address" 

  • If you want to manage information about your company in the future, then the e-mail must be corporate and linked to your website.

  • Notifications and letters from the Project administration will be sent to the specified e-mail address.

Rules for adding a review

Adding a review to the Project means that the user fully agrees with these Rules.

A review can only be added for a specific company through a special addition form on that company's page.

Important

  • The review must not violate US law.

  • The review must be detailed, at least 150 characters with spaces. It is written correctly, in compliance with the rules of the English language.

  • The review should be written based on your personal experience.

  • Your e-mail address will not be published, but may be required for feedback. 

  • The review should be useful to visitors and contain information about the advantages and/or disadvantages of the described service, product, or company.

  • It is forbidden to completely copy reviews from other sites. The percentage of uniqueness (of your text) should be more than 50%.

  • It is forbidden to use links, codes and other advertising information in reviews.

  • The owner, representative, or employee of the company referred to in the review has the right to clarify with the author the order number, date, and address where the product or service was purchased. Such a request can be made by contacting the Project administration, with a full description of the review and a link to the review page. If the reviewer does not provide such information within 30 days, the review may be removed from publication.

Moderation of submitted data

It is not allowed on the project:

  • to introduce yourself as another person, indicating incorrect information about yourself or the company;

  • to mislead, advertise non-existent goods or services;

  • distribute materials that may be considered unauthorized advertising, or that are spam or claims to be an invasion of users' privacy;

  • violate existing US laws and ethical standards;

  • and disseminate information containing illegal claims, threats, and slander;

  • disseminate information of a violent, sexual, or other nature that is contrary to U.S. law.

 

Avoid spelling mistakes and obvious violations of the above rules. Business cards that are not properly designed can be edited by the moderator (the Project administration), or deleted in case of significant violations of these rules.

Rules for displaying company information

  • The company is published in the categories of activities (Business Category / Subcategory) that were specified when it was added and passed moderation

  • The company is also published in the categories of keywords (Company Keywords) that were specified when it was added and passed moderation

  • The order of companies in all categories is random and remains completely dependent on the will of the Project administration. Sometimes, in some categories, a company that was added earlier than others in this category may be higher

  • Within two days after passing moderation and being added to the project, the company will be available for internal search in all categories that have passed moderation

  • The company's location label on the interactive city map. Based on the specified address, a label is assigned to the enterprise, and data from suppliers of cartographic resources is also taken into account. We cannot influence the accuracy of the label. If you change the address, the placemark will move automatically; or you need to wait for the next update of the cartographic information from the data provider

Legal aspects

Limitation of liability

The project is not responsible for losses resulting from the use of information posted by users.

Copyright (DMCA)

In case of copyright infringement, send a complaint via the feedback form, specifying the object, link, contact information and a statement of good faith. The complaint will be considered in due course.

The order of sending messages

You can send an error message, claim, or other request to the Project administration only electronically by choosing one of three ways:

  1. via the form “Did you find a mistake?” on the company's page

  2. via the form on the “Contact us” page https://gonmap.com/contact 

  3. via e-mail gonmap.contact@gmail.com

Privacy

By filling out the forms on the Project, the user agrees to the processing of personal data in accordance with US law, including CCPA. The User has the right to request the deletion of the data. The privacy Policy is posted at the link https://gonmap.com/policy
