i greatly appreciate all that Ann has done to help my family and myself. My child had a difficult time coping with their dad's addiction and behavior issues. Ann recommended we attend Al-Anon, along with counseling. It has been life-changing. I went from receiving calls from school that my child has suicidal ideations, to a child who enjoys physical activities, keeps their room clean AND gets themselves ready for school without me nagging them. I understand she is attempting to help but she is totally unethical. She was projecting her family experiences and what she deemed to be going parenting. In 2 sessions she had already made a judgement about my family without gathering all the information. I came in being very honest and thinking I was in a safe unjudgmental place, and she turned it around and be neutral, but she ended judging my family and husband.
I want to give her the benefit of the doubt, but I felt she had an agenda and doesn't really like conservative views . In my case she has caused more damage then helped.
