HALO Breast Care Center

Halo Breast Care is the absolute worst place I've ever been on my cancer journey. My experience was so negative that I had to file a grievance with my Insurance Company. I am also in the process of filing with an attorney.
I have already been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and have been treated for that at Enloe Hospital.
I was sent on 4-3-24 to Halo to get a Chest CT at the request of my M.D.
I was turned away from service because I didn't have the full amount for services that day. Even though I paid half and promised to pay the remainder the following month. They actually said I would have to return when or if I had the full amount. They actually sent me away and denied my test that day knowing full well that I was at risk for a metastasis to my lungs.
Their Medical Director is not even a Medical Doctor! I spoke to him on the phone the next day and he restated while talking over me, that they have the right to refuse treatment even though I have insurance and they weren't willing to bill that first. I have Medicare with a secondary.
This is the absolute worst facility I've ever been to through my Breast Cancer Treatment and should be avoided by any and all patients that expect quality care.

Have to get on here to thank the staff I saw today for masking for me with no issues. This was my third doctor's appointment this week and the other two places the NPs were so unbelievably rude... I was so relieved I didn't have a repeat of those experiences today at Halo. I thanked all my techs and they said "no problem!" (It's almost like masking for a few minutes out of your day really isn't a big deal?!) Really appreciate them accommodating me and not making me feel horrible to the point where I walk out like the other place did yesterday. Very considerate, kind, helpful all around.
