Salon Indigo was created in February 2013 by Elizabeth Armstrong, a local hairstylist and entrepreneur. Elizabeth has been in the health/beauty spa industry for over ten years. Her background includes massage therapy and she holds a cosmetology license in three states. Her education is ongoing with Paul Mitchell educators.

I had my hair lightened and cut by Beth. It was quite a challenge going from brown to blonde but she kept adjusting it till I was satisfied. I was very pleased with my end result and would recommend this salon to anyone who wants to go to someone who stands by their service. The salon is intimate and quite. I have only had my new hair for one day and have already received many compliments. Thanks Beth!

Great little salon. Highly recommended. She does great work, I am very happy with my haircut and will go back anytime I'm in town (and nappy). She is independent enough to do her own thing yet attentive enough to be able to easily handle changes and specific directions. My hair is thick and my cowlicks run rampant and plentiful, and she knocked it out the park with this haircut. Hard to find if you aren't paying attention or if you don't know the Chico area too well, though (ye be warned). But, once found, Salon Indigo is a very relaxing and rewarding place to get a snip.
