History
In 1984, the students of Chico State University recognized the need for student-led adventures in the wilds of Northern California and beyond. Today, Adventure Outings is supported by the Associated Students of CSU, Chico. In addition to our standard trips, we offer custom trips, outdoor equipment rental, backcountry yurt rental, special events and an indoor climbing wall.

A win win for everybody looking for adventure in Chico is the CSU Chico student run Adventure Outings. They provide equipment for independent trips as well as full service activities. Activities are scheduled nearly every weekend of each school semester at reasonable rates. Adventure Outings is geared for the college students, but anyone can participate. Prices are very reasonable and the guides are trained in their particular activity as well as CPR and First aid. Non Student participation is welcome as it helps to keep this program viable and affordable to the students. And lets face it, it is fun to relive those great college days.
