AJ's Tanning

The salon in my opinion was not up to par. I have noticed not so clean beds, the woman working whom i assume to be the owner was rather opinionated. Beds were a little outdated. Other girl working was friendly though and price is ok. but you get what you pay for i guess

This tanning salon is okay.
My friend recommended it to me so I was hoping it would be amazing.
I walked in with my credit card already out and signed up for the $25.00 unlimited tan for a month. They add a $2.00 for a healthcare tax to it, which the lady blamed Obama for and went on a mini rant about it (hint: don't discuss politics, religion with your customers!).
The beds are simple and clean. Be sure you bring "salon bed approved" lotion, because the owner will check that you did, and offer to sell you her lotion at a very high price if you did not. I did not know you needed that type of lotion, and when I had signed up on day one, was expecting to be ready to tan, but was unable to until I proved that I had tanning bed lotion.
There's no music in the place, so bring your headphones & MP3 player/iPod.
Also, tanning bed 3 (or 4?) has a camera right above it, which I am assuming is pointing at the front door, but I wasn't going to ask.
Overall, the tanning beds worked, but the atmosphere wasn't really what I had expected.
