Avalon Portrait Gallery was established in 1992 by Ross Pack. Steve Twist
purchased the studio from Ross in 1997.
Steve built the current studio and portrait park at 2667 Alamo Avenue in 2007.

I've been meaning to write this review for years but have never gotten around to it. What I have to say is Steve has photographed me and my siblings since our graduations. He's done senior portraits and most recently he did my wedding. Avalon is truly the best in the business. He always delivers stunning photos in a reasonable amount of time. But I have to say the "Crown Jewel" of Avalon is their reliability. Steve was LITERALLY hit by a car on the morning of our wedding.....and he STILL CAME TO PHOTOGRAPH IT! If a car accident won't stop him from doing his job to the best of his ability then nothing will! 10/10 Recommend Avalon.

Steve at Avalon photographed my college graduation photos and I am so so so SO in love with all of them! I felt like he really took the time to get to know me and think about how best to photograph me to show my personality. The photos are more than just pictures of me, they tell so much ABOUT me, which is amazing. And just to add to the overall beauty and effectiveness of the photos, every one was so sharp I could not believe it. Steve has an easygoing personality that made it easy to feel comfortable in front of the camera even though I normally am so camera shy! I just don't have enough good things to say about my experience with Avalon.
