Garrettson Optomotry in Chico, C.A. On Cohasset is the Worst experience I've ever had at an optomotrist. The office is very outdated and falling apart. Some the the display cases are broken with no plans of getting replaced from the looks of things. The lobby stinks of old cigarets and doesn't look very organized.

They wrote me out a prescription that wasn't correct. They were a bit persistent on me ordering glasses through them. I already had a pair picked out online and just needed an up to date prescription. I made the order online from coolframes.com. When I received the glasses I instantly noticed the left eye was blurry so I compared the current prescription they wrote me vs my previous prescription that still worked fine for me. The numbers were pretty far off.

The lenses I ordered online were very pricey because I decided to go all out on this new pair of glasses I was very excited to get. Since the prescription is so far off I cannot just send the lenses in for an exchange, I'll have to pay another $200 to get new ones made. When I contacted Garretson about the costly mistake they said it wasn't their fault and they would not help me with replacing the lenses. They said they would be glad to alter my prescription and write me a new one with the numbers from my previous prescription or I can come in for a new exam. After the first experience who knows if the new precrtpition would even be accurate?

Bottom line is I would not recommend them and look elsewhere.
