Da Capo

I'm super pleased with my experience at Da Capo. Was there an initial rough patch? Yes. My first stylist did not know what she was doing with my hair. There was no consultation - just a quick look at a reference photo. I came home with (unwanted and) uneven layers, uneven bangs, and basically a bad cut that had me feeling low for 48 hours.

Thankfully, I reached out to the salon owner Danielle who really cared about my experience and wanted to make things right. I went back for an adjustment cut with Shanon, who was 180 degrees from the first stylist. Shanon is an amazing and super skillful hairstylist!! She did a thorough consultation, asked me many questions, and evaluated my hair texture and previous bad cut. She had really good judgment and technique, and checked in about length multiple times. You can tell when a stylist is good, cares about how you feel, and is interested in making you look the very best you can. I LOVE my hair now. And I'm so thrilled to find a great stylist in town. All's well that ends well. And I have lots of respect and gratitude to Danielle for running a business with integrity and care.

Great place to get your hair cut! I love how Shanon cuts my hair: working with me each time to figure out the best way to go shorter, grow it out a bit--whatever I ask her to do with my particular kind of hair! Plus I look forward to seeing her every time. Really sweet, helpful, skilled, and charming!
