Green Construction Service started in 2008 as a general contractor specializing in GREEN technology and service. Since then, we have become the premiere Home Performance Contractor in Northern California and have added heating and air conditioning along with insulation and solar. Our specialty is to reduce the amount of energy needed for a home or business by using building science and advanced building products and to provide the balance of energy needs with solar electric systems.

They entice you with a great deal for a home energy audit and then you have to call and email for weeks to get results. Going on 2 months and have yet to receive the results after being promised 3 weeks, then next week, then end of the week... this program is a fraud. Don't do it.

We used Green Construction to install a whole house fan and several sun tunnels. They were extremely efficient and completed the project in 2 days. I was impressed with how often I heard the workers say, "measure it once more to be sure" and similar comments. They were thorough and cleaned up after themselves, including sweeping, at the end of each day. As an extra bonus, they were kind and playful with my toddler as he ran around and tried to climb their ladders, unplugged their batteries, etc. Our fan is whisper quiet and our tunnels have made a huge difference in the lighting in our house. I would recommend Green Construction to anyone for their excellent workmanship, diligence, and personality.
