I Fish Poke Bar Thai Kitchen

The family who runs this place is very kind and they make great food. I've come here to eat many times throughout the years and it's been consistently good. The service is reliably friendly, fast, and high quality. Their prices are good for Chico CA too. There are nice places to sit down inside and it definitely beats being out in the Chico heat. I love I Fish and would totally recommend them to a friend.

I am only going to review my poke bowl. I am not sure if it was a fluke, but my husband and I ordered 2 poke bowls with 3 proteins. I requested 2 salmon one ahi . Salmon was tasty however, the ahi was like eating fish bait. The pieces were horrible. Whoever trimmed this tuna needs to go back to sushi 101. I don't think it was ahi which is a deep red . I believe it was yellowtail . Unfortunately I couldn't finish it. I am a longtime sushi eater from the Bay Area and love fresh tuna and salmon. I do understand quality and cost. The appetizers included, crab/cream cheese wonton.. delicious, tempura shrimp.. tasty, unfortunately the calamari was like chewing an inner tube. I hope this won't be my last visit.
