Reviews of Laura's Preschool

This review is only for the infant center and not for the pre-k/older kids daycare. Went in for a "tour" of the infant center (which consisted of us standing in the doorway and not being shown around) and my husband told me, after we left, that he didn't even want to go inside. There were several babies in this really (kind of unclean) small house, one was just sitting in the highchair looking out the window (broke my heart), another was crying on the floor (also broke my heart) and after several minutes of crying, I made the comment that I just wanted to pick this child up and only this prompted the staff member to pick the baby up and comfort them. I did not see one baby with a toy or play thing. On their website it states that everyone is temperature checked at the door (we were not), and I did not see anyone washing their hands coming in from outside when picking up the babies. There was also a sign above one of the rooms asking people to take their shoes off since babies crawl around,, but all staff was wearing shoes. One of the directors looked extremely unprofessional with loud and garish makeup and facial piercings and she and the other director kept talking over one another. The infant sleeping area honestly reminded me of what a Russian orphanage might look like. From one new mother to the next, I would highly suggest going elsewhere for your infant care needs. I actually broke into tears after we left the premises!
