    My husband has been going to this place for years, getting eye injections, and has had surgery. On his last appointment, they wanted him to fill out a questionnaire to get help paying for his injections. We said no, thank you, we have two insurances and wouldn't be needing it. They didn't leave it at that they called someone and had me talk on the phone with them. Again, I said no, thank you. I went to sit out in the car, and my husband said they wanted to
    collect $347 for a shot that we weren't even there to get. I went in, and the office staff was trying to get me to do the questionnaire again. I was angry by this point, so yes, I stood my ground and said no. Dr Reed, let me say his name again Dr Reed , asked my husband to have me stop yelling at his staff. I wasn't yelling, but I was tired of telling them no. They stopped me from going back with my husband and tried to say we had signed up for this program before. Not once in our previous visits, has anyone talked to us about this. When I did get back to my husband, Dr Reed said that he has never had to explain costs to any patient. They had 3 girls in the room, like I was going to do something. We have been going to this office probably 10 years, with no problems. All of a sudden, the $347 shot they said we would have to pay for was no longer needed, according to Mr Reed. We have seen other doctors in this practice, never had a problem. Today, I get a notice that they will no longer take my husband because of the incident with them trying to force us to fill out some financial forms that didn't even need to be done. Signed by Mr Reed because of my behavior. What about their behavior.They wouldn't let no, be
    the answer. I don't know if this form gives them a kickback or what, but they were pushing it so hard that it made me uncomfortable. We have seen this doctor maybe twice , never had a problem with the office or the staff..any of the years we have been going there. Now my husband is cut off from the whole Retinal Consultants.
    UPDATE....
    Not only did Mr Reed refuse to see my husband, but we didn't want to see him again anyway, kind of a pompous jerk. He also made it so he couldn't see any of the Retinal Consultants in Sacramento. No one called to get our side. The other doctors he has seen there were Awesome.

    TERRIBLE!!! I don't usually comment on businesses through this platform, but the experience was incredibly incompetent and insensitive! We arrived early to do new patient paperwork and completed by the appointment time only to sit on the waiting room for an hour and 15 minutes. My mom is wheelchair bound and it's painful for her to sit for long periods. I had scheduled a B-line transport for the allotted appointment time and added an hour for the appointment (was told by a receptionist that it would only take 30-45 minutes) for the return transport. when the transport came we hadn't even been seen and I was obligated to let the ride go. I went back in and asked the person at the front desk if she knew when we were going to get in for our appointment because we had just missed our return bus and everyone in the waiting room who had arrived after us had been seen? She acted surprised and said that they would make room for her now. What? you weren't making room for her before? Really? we waited 15 more minutes for them to make room for an appointment that was 1-1/2 hours previous! Who does this? When we finally got in, the staff was unprepared for wheelchair access! Really,No ADA access? Guess who will pay them a visit and soon? Moving her from space to space was a feat in itself, each examination room was unprepared for wheelchair access and , frankly, patient access was questionable too! Lastly, we waited in the AIRCONDITIONED waiting room with our coats on for another hour for return trip as the B-Line usually doesn't take reservations past a certain time.... All-in-all a poor representation of what a service business should be like. We won't go there again unless we have to!
