Whelchel Construction was started by my father Claude Whelchel in 1979 I started working with him as a kid and took over the business in 2012 we strive to complete projects on time and on budget. We have built many homes and commercial buildings in chico and surrounding areas including tons of bathroom remodels and full home remodels. We do everything home or business related.

Whelchel designed and built new kitchen/sink cabinets for me a little more than a year ago. Last week both the drains under the double sink failed. They literally fell apart, soaking the brand new bottom surface! I left a voice mail describing the issue. There has been no response over a week later. I had to pay a plumber to repair the damage.
I would discourage anyone from using a construction company that is unable to correct its own defective work- helpfull 0
