Barajas Taqueria

I was excited to try this place but it really didn't do it for me and I wouldn't come back. I got a spicy carne asada burrito, no substitutions or adjustments, and it was honestly a mess. There was no salsa at all let alone spicy salsa, no beans, and barely any onions and cilantro. I even double checked w the staff that it was spicy (there was a mild version of my order ahead of me and after me) and they assured me it was. The rice and meat were flavorful but I need a whole lotta sazon in my food. while it was salty and savory, it had no depth or spice whatsoever. If you're picky or like more simple food it would be good, but if not I'd def pass. For a burrito that's over 10 dollars in Chico and for a really straightforward order, I expect a lot more. The staff was hella nice but the food was really disappointing

Great Mexican street tacos and burritos . The nachos are big and good. Service is very friendly and they have several locations thru Chico.
