***CUSD ROCKS!
I really appreciate my school district CHICO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT! I have been a parent in this district for 20 years. My younger son will graduate in the Fall of 2011, and walk across the stage to receive his high school diploma in June 2012 while attending his 1st semester of Butte College. Yay!

I am acquainted with many in the school district and I will say we have a great team of administrators, teachers, paraprofessionals, and staff educating our children, teens, and young adults! I have never had a problem I was not able to work out with my son's team of staff. We are a team, and when parents and staff focus on priorities, which are our students, that equals success! Failure is not an option. Just as there are problems sometimes at home, sometimes problems happen at school. But as a team, we can work together:) ...It has been a long road, and I am so very thankful for my school district, and very proud of my sons!

Sometimes parents are quick to complain and want to blame the school district for a lot, but unless you volunteer & help your child's school and take your job seriously as a parent or guardian, please do not complain! It is OUR job to make sure our children are succeeding, not the school district's. We are a TEAM! The school cannot do it alone with lazy parents, they need your involvement. Please get more involved in your child's education. THEY NEED YOU TO!
