Embarc - Chico

I write this as a relative newbie to Cannabis. There's also 2 parts to this- my experience and also commenting on the negative reviews.

IF You're new- Seek Alex! He's absolutely amazing!

I've been to a few other dispensaries where all they wanted to do was sling multiple products at me with no idea of what my ultimate goal was. Causing me to waste several hundreds of dollars with no real solution other than "getting stoned".

Then I found Embarc. Alex who has been my bud tender a few times has been absolutely amazing and I've never once felt as it I was being judged for asking so many questions. He answered them all with a genuine smile on his face and the confidence of someone who knew their craft and product.

It seems every time I go in, i have 20 more questions and Alex answers them completely and regardless of how many people are in line, he takes the time to make me feel like I'm the only person in the room.

With 20 years of retail sales experience under my belt, I know how difficult that can be.

As for the negative reviews- Complaining about a business opening 10 minutes late? You mean... Humans aren't perfect?! *GASP*

Overpriced? You mean daily deals plus a Veterans discount that makes their prices on average about 15% less than other places in chico?

IMO the bad reviews are from people that obviously need to take some uh... chill medicine THEN write a review OR people with ties to other dispensaries which is a shame because there is MORE than enough business to go around!

And the one complaining about scanning your ID.. Dude- they either scan them with a scanner or a swipe card on the magnetic strip. If you're that worried that Uncle Sam GAF what weed you're buying... maybe you should grow your own and get a green screen...

poor customer service, I do not recommend and I would not go back. There are other options in Chico
