Mr. Harris & Ms. Plottel began working together in 2007. In 2011, Mr. Harris and Ms. Plottel formed Harris & Plottel, LLP. We wanted to update our family trust for several reasons, and returned to this law firm that had made an update previously in 2016. We weren't able to consult Plottel who we had originally see, but the new associate we were allowed to see belittle our concerns and then wanted to be paid over $500 for his "consultation" before we left the building. And they wanted $30000 up front before they would update or trust, as before. They sent us boilerplate letters that didn't really address our concerns, and when we complained, they dismissed us! We went to a different law firm where we were treated respectfully, updated our trust in a much more comprehensive fashion, and charged us less than half of what Harris & Plottel wanted. Harris & Plottel is overpriced and seems only interested in money, not the client.

Nicole and the team at Harris & Plottel helped my husband and I with all of our Estate planning. I found the whole idea to be stressful and confusing but Nicole was so patient and knowledgeable that everything went very smoothly. She is able to explain complex concepts in a way that anyone can understand. I highly recommend Nicole and her team for and Estate planning or Elder law needs.
