At one time, this was a reliable and affordable place for auto repair. took our cars there for years,and we recommended him to co-workers and friends. However, it appears that the mechanic/owner has become burned out on his job. We paid over $3,000 for an engine overhaul. Right away, I noticed that the engine had an unhealthy noise that resembled a "rod knocking" which usually means your engine is toast. When I took the car back, he stated that he was getting ready to go on vacation, but he would take a look at it before he left, and let us know. We never heard from him, and eventually, we went back there and brought the car home. My husband spoke with the mechanic , who said that I "must have ran it out of oil or something." Long story short, the mechanic did not stand behind his work and the husband refused to persue the matter. Thats alot of money for a lousy job.
