McMillan Tree Service

Home Depot hired this Clown, McMillan. He and his obese helper stood in my way as I exited in my vehicle. They told me I couldn't leave because the road I was on was not a street. ( it is ) I explained My vehicle didn't have reverse and I am disabled.
They wouldn't let me pass, I told him they were liars and used my good leg to push my car back enough to turn and leave.
I would think twice about hiring this business.

We are so pleased with the excellent service we received from Scott and all his crew at McMillan Tree Service! A great price, as the job was difficult since it was an extremely tall redwood tree in a narrow area between two houses with another house off to the side.

The guys methodically removed the tree skirt (hey, I am a lay person who doesn't know the terms), then did the precision cuts in safe increments. Their method ensured that the logs fell into a prescribed area to save our nearby old crepe myrtle and Rose of Sharon trees from collateral damage. He also miraculously avoided cracking the pavement when the heavy crane was in position. We can't say the same for another local company we used who charged us extra for a platform to supposedly avoid cracks and they wrecked our walkway. Not so with McMillan's crew ... they ROCKED this job!

And when on Day 2 the wind would have put the crew at risk, the owner called it off and notified us when they would return to ensure his crew was safe and our other trees weren't at risk because they would lack the needed control of the falling cut wood. We were impressed at his safety measures.

Also, they courteously cleaned up after themselves with blowing all of our back and front yard where they had the chipper and trailer stationed at times. It all looks great. We were sad to see the beautiful redwood go, but we're thrilled at the job the entire crew did and the owner, Scott, was great to work with for sure.
