Sierra Roofing

Wow! What a different experience from mine. After being stiffed by Chico Roofing (see my review there for details of being left with no help and a leaking roof) I called these guys and they came right to the house in the pouring rain and wind, climbed up on my slick tile roof, found and fixed the problem to get me through the heavy storm, and set up a time to come back and complete the fix in better weather. I couldn't be more grateful and more impressed. Everyone was super helpful and kind and I'm safe and secure in my home again.

So, w/ all the posted negative reviews, our experience may sound like a phony; but, it isn't by a long shot. A major construction firm in Chico which had painted our house, but does not do roofing nor normally refers phone callers to other contractors, referred us to Sierra Roofing. Eric Gray promptly responded at a very busy time sev'l months post-Camp Fire both on the phone and on site doing a roof inspection for necessary repairs on an older two-tile, Mexican barrel tile roof. He was a straight shooter and his recommendations saved us a bunch of money cuz we were prepared to replace the underlay on the entire roof. A big, expensive job which he said was not needed. His crew was responsive, professional, cleaned up thoroughly and were done ahead of schedule for our realtor's listing. Price seemed fair. We couldn't have been happier. Not sure if it's kosher to post our names but 'what the hey', nothing ventured, nothing gained. Yelp can extract it if that's their policy.
