Mikes Automotive

I can't say enough good things about this place. I've been all over Chico looking for a reliable mechanic. I used to take my vehicles to A&E Automotive, and they did okay work. If you want amazing work and to have the problem fixed at a great price with complete honesty and transparency, go to Mike's Automotive! I went there because I had a leaking fuel line. I was quoted at other shops at unreasonably high prices.

I had never been to this place. My aunt went there when her truck wouldn't start and she was stuck in Chico. They were incredibly kind and honest with her. So, when my truck started leaking diesel fuel, my mom and aunt both recommended Mike's. It's worth mentioning that the work they did was done back in April. This review is being posted in June because I wanted to make sure that the work would hold up, and it has.

The prices and service was so great, I had them fix my rear fuel tank, change the oil, and do a tune up. All of this was still less than $1,000.00 and was amazing quality. This place literally saved me more than $1,500.00 and I can't thank them enough.

This place is not very well known but it needs to be. Big chains may have history and reputation on their side, but you'll end up regretting the cost, quality of work, the lack of honesty, the time wasted if the job isn't done right the first time, and the really impersonal people that see you as another dollar sign. If I ever have problems with my truck that I can't fix, I'm going to MIKE'S AUTOMOTIVE!

Mike's Automotive is a great, honest and knowledgeable team. From the fast and friendly response to phone calls to the times they didn't charge for small stuff, they are truly a great little shop. My wife and I have been taking our Honda and Toyota there for years now. (When my wife went into the shop with a scratch on her arm, Mike offered something soothing from his first aid kit.) Highly recommended shop for Chico area.
