History
Drs. John and Melissa Nelsen
John and Missy met on their first day of dental school at Loma Linda University, and graduated together in 1999. Dr. Missy brought Dr. John from his home state of Washington, to her hometown, Chico. Together they started this practice in 2000. Their dream was to have a cosmetic practice where they could provide excellent dental care for the whole family in a relaxing environment.

This place saved me. They treat you like family. There are other places I could go that take my insurance but I actually choose to pay out of pocket because it's worth every penny! It's not about just having a nice atmosphere which they do. Or lovely receptionist that remember you and are always really nice. Or the fact that the dentist and assistant put you at ease and have fabulous bedside manner. They have all those things but what really really matters is they actually do great work! Lol.

This is an excellent dentist office with a wonderful staff. I would definitely recommend! Yelp has an 85-word minimum.
