North State AV, formerly Tolar A.V.L., Incorporated was founded in 1995 as a local sound company. We now provide audio visual services, concert and corporate lighting and own several million $ in rental inventory for events of all sizes. In 2015, we purchased our first large scale Jumbo Tron screens which are visible in broad daylight, state of the art in resolution and weather proof.

Feb 26, 2024These guys really shit the bed at last weeks Butte College graduation. Microphones cutting out during the National Anthem and during speeches. Music playing while speakers were giving their speeches, very sloppy overall and it did not make the graduation ceremony feel like a professional event at all. Did anyone even do sound checks before the event? I'm pretty sure the high school AV club would have done a better job. Hopefully Butte College didn't have to pay for anything. It was really bad.

This is a fantastic company! They have incredible service and they did a great job working on our school and installing technology for all of our students. I highly recommend this company. A big shout out to Matt who helped us through a big order. Very friendly! And effective!
