Pastor Jose is from Williams, Ca and Pastor Vivian is from Napa, Ca. They both met in Chico in 2008 in college. After years of faithful service in children's ministry they were eventually ordained as children's pastors in 2016. In 2017 they were transitioned to being Small Groups pastors as

I highly recommend Promise Church! My husband and I absolutely love attending. This church has become our family away from our family. We both came to Chico to go to college but we stayed in this city and just bought a house in Forest Ranch because we love the irreplaceable community and family we have found at Promise Church. The Pastors are incredibly vulnerable, loving and nurturing and the congregation is very accepting.

Great church. Very welcoming, upbeat music, and a great message. Never feel judged and you always leave feeling great about your week!! Great kids church as well!!
