History

I started Ricks Brass Music when I retired from CSUC in 2013. However, by that time I had been teaching private trumpet lessons 45+ years. I recorded my 1st CD in 1984 and then began my arrangements of J.S. Bach Suites I, III & IV while on sabbatical leave and toured with Paul Anka Band. I recorded the companion CD to J.S. Bach Suites I. III & IV in 2004 and completed my other brass books after retirement (2013 to present). To date, there are 18 brass books published. See bio!
