In 1967 Rich Stewart partnered with his sister and brother in-law, Joyce and Don Sheffield, and started a small produce store in Gridley, California called S&S Produce. I was looking for Celtic Sea Salt. I call the day before and was told possible in the next day shipment. I showed up and not what I was looking for. The ambiance was normal.

I Just left the bbq, and I am not happy. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak on sourdough. It came out on stale white bread. This bread tastes terrible and is stale or not made correctly. I took my more than half a sandwich back ti the register hoping for a partial refund or something. I got "let me get someone." Wrong answer. Then, the bbq girl says "it is sourdough, and I know it's fresh because it just came in." More wrong answers. I just walked out. This is upsetting because my family has been shopping here for many years, but I think we're done. I would give zero stars, but I've only had issues with the bbq. Last time it was burnt badly and I just ate the garbage. Get it together S&S bbq and clean your grill
I just took this pile of a sandwich back to the guys at work. Five of them tried the bred and all agreed it's not sourdough, so what's the deal S&S? I don't even think you sell this cheap bred IN your store- helpfull 0
