If you're looking for stunning engagement and/or wedding photos from a photographer who is somehow always upbeat and relaxed, you've come to the right place!! We were so lucky to find Shannon to photograph our September 2019 wedding in Chico. We live across the country, and Shannon managed to sneak us for an engagement shoot during the 2018 holidays! Once we met her, we knew that we had made a great decision. On the day of the wedding, she was ceaselessly positive, even when wrangling one million aunties that all had their own ideas of what pictures should be taken! She also delivered on our hope for not just posed photos but also ones that really express our personalities and relationship. Some of our favorite photos feature us making silly faces or moments that show pure joy. Shannon and her second shooter were 100% professionals who somehow captured beautiful moments from the ceremony and reception even though I can't remember even seeing them during those times. She also captured the most beautiful light for our bride and groom sunset photos and she worked really well with our wedding planner and the videographers on the day of. All in all, Shannon gave us photos that we will treasure for a lifetime and made the whole process fun and low stress. Oh, and our photos arrived right as scheduled a few weeks after the wedding! Shannon was not only a delight to work with, but an amazing photographer. She obtained all the shots with none of the stress. I have received complements not only on on my engagement and wedding photographs, but on her manner and interactions with the guests. We received our edited photos well ahead of schedule.
