Skylab Nails & Spa

I recently moved to Chico and definitely was in need of some self care , arriving to this location which is a corner lot made it easy to find . I walked in and was greeted immediately with pure kindness, it was definitely a vibe , they played a soft jazz station which had me relaxed while getting my pedicure, The owner did my nails which wow double wow, I showed the photos of what I wanted and she did it better lol than my photos I showed her , she was funny , sweet , listened to my vision . It is family owned and operated so you sense the awesome family dynamics. Best shop hands down in Chico , and yes I can say that after going shop to shop the other shops didn't have the experience to do the job .

I've had my nails done here a few times. Prices are pretty decent for a full set. Doesn't feel dirty in there, just overall staff are busy/doing their own thing. On my third set in a row I had a nail break, but never before that. It has a very very strong chemical smell in there so be prepared for that. I don't know much about sanitation practices. I wouldn't recommend coming here for groups.
