Signs of abuse and the license isn't being renewed. Workers are great. It's the owner that the claims are towards. Abuse spans from years ago to just last month.

I am a former employee here at super luper kids. I worked here for about 5 months. I have witnessed first hand how horrible this daycare is. First and foremost they have a MAJOR cockroach infestation. I remember feeding the kids on the table and you would see the bugs crawling over the table. They are everywhere you turn, food areas, baby areas and sleeping areas. Secondly, the staff does not treat the kids well especially the director. The director i have witnessed physically pulled a child by their arm when he was whining and throwing a fit. Its a shame when you work at a place and no one wants the boss or director their. They would overwork the staff completely, NO breaks and if you HAD to, you HAD to take 2 hour lunches . There would be only two teachers, one on the infant side and one on the preschool side. Sometimes you'd watch 10-12 students by yourself. And its hard to take care of the students when you have those extra need students or those students who are really hard to take care of and need extra care and attention. They have no curriculum and everyday they REQUIRE the teacher and kids to do an art project thats all. Not all kids want to do art everyday. They would have a hard time keeping up on diapers especially in the preschool side, one day i came in i was not aware of a student who wore diapers at age 6 and poor little thing sat in their diaper the whole day (i felt so bad but i didnt know). INCIDENTS.. the kids would constantly hit and throw objects such as wooden blocks at the other kids and we couldnt really do anything about it, time out did not work. They wouldnt file incident reports. And parents, please if your child is not daycare ready.. dont force them to come. I dealt with students who would scream and cry all day, throw tantrums and completely rip apart the classroom during his tantrum, its very hard to control that and deal with other students as well as it is just one teacher. Lastly, i wanted to take time off to see the birth of my sister. I requested months in advance, and they continually denied me. I was not going to miss the birth of my sister so i didnt go to work those few days, they didnt put me back on schedule after. I contacted the place and asked why i was not on schedule, no response. So i guess i was fired ? All im saying is completely not professional, they couldve at least told me so i knew cause i had rent to pay. Also if you look up the filed reports towards this daycare, theyve gotten reported at least 10 times, how are they still in business ? That is all. Parents, DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE.
