History
Hal and Nancy Carlson left the agricultural industry to pursue sweeter adventures in Chico, opening Powell's in 2007. Since then their business has grown right along with Chico and evolved into Sweet Chico Confection.

Jul 08, 2024Got some fun items and liked the pumpkin spice caramel (in the display case at the cashier). Employees were friendly, but were chatting the whole time and had to be waved over every time. Prices are high and most items don't have labels, so you have to ask about every single item. Fun to look though. Was disappointed there weren't more unique local goodies.
