The Growing Place

I started seeing a therapist at the Growing Place a few years back. I was having marital and family issues that I just couldn't seem to get a handle on. My counselor was very professional, patient and empathetic. We finally got to the root of my issues, and I was taught how to deal with the negative feelings that I had been dealing with for years. I was taught what my triggers were, and how to turn those negatives into positives. I am very grateful for my counselor and everything I learned about myself during therapy. My counselor helped save my marriage, and I have resolved many other family issues. I highly recommend The Growing Place! I have met other counselors that work there and they all seem very caring and professional!

I saw a male therapist there who crossed alot of boundaries. He would rub down my back, make inappropriate comments, and even pushed his way into my home to use the restroom. I know he knew what he was doing was wrong because when he offered to take me out to lunch he told me not to tell anyone. I contacted the lady incharge via email to let her know what happened, and she didn't even acknowledge the situation. Very unprofessional, and inappropriate.
