The Hub

The Holiday Inn in Chico should have a good restaurant. It doesn't need to be a 5 star culinary experience. Just a nice ambiance with decent food, prices and service. Fail.
The limited menu is fine, the pricing is not bad at all. The food is also pretty good...except for the BLT on a croissant, the one with a "hint" of bacon...or the weak Rain-bo French roll on the Blue Burger.

The waitress, who was the ONLY waitress, with no bus staff to help her, did a good job. There were 18 of us. But by the time the kitchen (probably one cook) got the food out and she got it to the table, it was cool, the fries were soggy, the croissant, deflated.

So, in the interest of saving money, the management of The Hub has lost me and most everyone I talk to. We should not have had to wait so long, we should not have had to sit there for up to an hour after our meal with all our plates sitting in front of us. Lastly, the manager(s) of the restaurant did not lift a finger to help their staff. They should have at the very least cleared off the table or carried out the food in the absence of sufficient help.

Great place for Latin Dancing on Tuesday nights. Fun music and friendly dancers. Food service until 9:00.
