Wild Casian

Trying to judge in the middle. My first visit crab and shrimp was amazing, evening the service! The second visit was not up to par. The king crab legs tasted old and way overcooked. The pho was good, but service Second time around was lame. Consistency is a must! I might not go again.

This was a bad experience.

I enjoy Pho Le's food so I was hoping that the Wild Casian "restaurant within a restaurant" would be it's equal. Sadly, that was simply not the case. Normally, the quality and taste of the food is the number one factor when rating a restaurant. This time it was the lack of food that mattered most.

I ordered the shrimp gumbo and corn on the cob. Five minutes later I was told they were out of the gumbo. A few minutes later i was informed that the corn was not available. I settled for a large sausage link and Casian fries. The food was ok but certainly nothing special. My son had the fried catfish basket which he described as 'average".

Now for the soda saga. They have fountain soft drinks and I first ordered a cola drink. The waitress came back saying they were out. Three more soda requests and three more waitress returning empty-handed experiences later, I finally gave up and settled on a boba smoothie.

The waitress was friendly and very apologetic about all of the problems but even that became a problem. She apologized so many times and made so many excuses about things that I ended up gently consoling her and telling her it was ok.

Often times, not having the food on a menu can mean economic problems are in play and going out of business is soon to follow. I hope that is not the case for Pho Le and Wild Casian.
