ABC Books

The couple who run ABS Books are absolutely great! I have been there and just given a few words description of the book I am looking for and somehow they know exactly where it is. You can also give them a topic that interests you and they can recommend several authors and titles. They are the most knowledgeable people I have ever met in a book store.

Books are my one true love - ever since my childhood when I'd eagerly go to the library, check some out, go home and read them, then, a couple days later, turn them in and check out more. :) Such happy days!

And, of course, I'm a sucker for bookstores, with books new and used. This one I've been frequenting since its previous location over near Walgreens. I think the new location has been a little more convenient for me, because I'm able to make regular visits to keep myself up-to-date on the ever-changing inventory.

As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a "hello", "welcome in", or some other phrase to make you feel appreciated for stopping by to support this business operation. And then you're overwhelmed, this is good, by all the books! Books are everywhere! All sorted by genre, of course. And now you get to peruse through the shelves, grab books which entice you, leaf through them and decide which ones you're going to purchase.

Whenever I'm here, I purchase 2-3, because the prices are excellent and there are some great finds I've found here over the years. The inventory, I repeat, is constantly changing, which means you need to come regularly and, maybe, just maybe, you'll find some real literary gems. :) I certainly have.
