Allstate Insurance Agent: Kevin Baker

I WAS a client of Baker Insurance Co., specifically Christy was my agent for 20 years! This place has cost me a lot money in fines for their mistake!
What a horrible mistake it was to trust them to take care of their client when I wanted to decrease my insurance coverage!
Just so you know, I've never had an accident or violations......
First, Christy grudgingly rewrote my policy to reflect my needs for decreasing coverage, remember after 20 years of full coverage for myself and my daughter. Then 2 days after accepting my payment, Christy called me and stated that Allstate wanted to take pictures of my vehicle, review registration, etc., before rewriting a lessor policy. So they refunded my paid policy, now I didn't have any insurance coverage after 20 years! I never even had an accident claim!
This was a huge imposition for me since I'm a senior person and have had many health problems that prevented me from getting around easily.
Next thing I know I receive a letter from the DMV stating that I have been fined because I have let my Insurance lap. I didn't have insurance because she allowed my policy to be canceled and didn't even bother to call me to tell me I had a time limit or she would report me!
Christy sent in a letter to the DMV, without even calling me to tell me she was going to do that!
So I get home from the Hospital and find the DMV letter in the mail with a fine stating that now my Registration has been suspended for lack of Insurance and I have a fine as well!!!! Really nice to come home to that...
Christy at Kevin Baker Insurance did this to me while I have been a valued customer for 20 years!
I think you could do better ANYWHERE else when you want to purchase insurance.
