I won an auction for power tools from BidCal. In the photos they looked fine and there was no mention of the items being water damaged in the listing. When I went to pick them up they had been stored outside on a pallet in the rain on BidCal's backlot. No attempt had been made to cover them even though a storm had been forecast to roll through and they are clearly not the kind of things meant to be stored outside in the weather. They were covered in rust, water, and mud splatter when I went to pick them up. When I pointed out that the tools had been damaged while in their care and the photos used in the listing did not match their current condition they said that all auctions are sold "as-is, where-is" and they refused to do anything about it. That kind of service is unacceptable and downright deceptive. They should be ashamed of deceiving their customers and treating their client's goods like that.

The best auction around. The owner and employees are great to work with. I've bought several items over the years without an issue. Very professional business. The other review is based on speculation??!!..one reason why Yelp is a stupid site where people who haven't even bought anything can rate a business on speculation alone...
