Rehabilitation.
The Director of physical therapy is too abrupt with the patients several of the physical therapist are excellent others. I don't let them touch me.
The CNA most of them are excellent. There are a few at night that don't do much at all and you have to wait for them to answer a call button between 30 and 40 minutes.
The nurses are all excellent and overworked and there are not enough people to staff in the evening and the night time. Some of the nurses and CNA work 12 hours and sometimes they do double back 12 hours.
That food is mostly carbohydrates. They are very short on protein and they have limited vegetables. The coffee needs to be upgraded. It tastes like colored water.
They do not offer snacks in the afternoon. It gets to be five hours between lunch and dinner.
They are remodeling this building and the noise is really bad. They've been remodeling for three months and I have real troubles sleeping with a loud noise in the hallways and they don't have central heating. They rely on a portable heater in the hallways they don't have fans in the rooms. There are no clocks to tell you what time it is , the staff cannot do much about it. The administrator has to be able to correct these things and I don't see her correcting anything but making the place pretty that doesn't help her patience.
The beds, especially mine, creeks and grown, as it goes up and down, and it is uncomfortable
There is no heat in the bath area that they take you to once a week , the people that help you in the bathroom can take a shower and they treat you like you're in assembly line. I know there are worse places to stay, but I can't imagine it, when I came here, they made me feel if I was lucky to be in this rehabilitation business.
Medicare pays for a lot of this in fact most of it and my private insurance they need to treat their patients better. They need to feed them better food they need to have better equipment.
I happen to be handicapped here in this place, and I believe that when I had kidney stones and was sent to Enloe hospital that something happened to my left leg and I cannot walk on it now- helpfull 0

My dad was there for 2 weeks. He said they didn't feed him enough. During his stay he lost 15 lbs.
He was there for wound care. There was no improvement in the wound. We discharged him on our own. He was miserable and referred to this place as Hell.
Happy note; once he was home and caring for his wound himself and with a weekly visit from a nurse, he made incredible progress in healing.- helpfull 0
