Autumn Creek Post Acute

While I haven't been admitted i thought I'd share my experience thus far. I was admitted to a rehabilitation center about 90-120 minute from my home. The closest town to my family and support network is Chico. I discovered that this Chico Heights had been contacted to accept me as a patient my hospital case manager didn't advise me. Instead I was told nothing was available in Chico. I contacted them directly to see if they were still interested even though I was two days in at another facility. I was able to get the needed documents exchanged and the process is now underway awaiting approval by the insurance company. I had telephone support and periodic updates via text. I'm very pleased so I have a very positive experience thus far. I plan to update my review so it's up to Chico Heights to come thru for me

staff is calm and caring. I was 2 hours away from my father who was placed for rehab. being 2 hours away was stressful to say the least. Candy in social services was FAST and CALM when i was freaking out and falling apart. She solved the problem immediately with great compassion. Each time i had a concern it was answered quickly and they calmed my fears-concerns immediately. The facility had construction going on all around and i was impressed with how smoothly is seemed to be going.
When i finally was able to arrive his nurse was very attentive to me as well as Dad. Making sure i sat down and had a cold drink and relaxed.....i must have looked very stressed. Having a heart of compassion is very evident in this place. THANK YOU
