History
Although founded recently Chico Magic is really an offspring of Becky's first two stores Ebbets Field, which was located in downtown Chico during the mid 80's and Sports Play which was located in the Chico Mall for 15 years.
The owner Becky Strong has had many interests over the last three decades but one thing has remained constant;she loves to collect and enjoys playing card games. Magic the Gathering fills both those needs thus Chico Magic was born.

Becky who owns and runs the store is a very large contributing factor as to why I shop here. Her customer service is second to none. She always has a fairly good selection of Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic and Pokémon as well as some others. I have played at the shop for years. And have had my fair amount of great value pulls at drafts and just in general. 10/10 recommend for seasoned and new collectors.

I use to come here before Covid and just started coming back to casual play with a friend. Becky is still an amazing store owner, the store is still full of cool stuff and prices are fair. I wish Chico had more people who play the TCGs I play, like Digimon, but it's alright since this store caters mostly to MTG and YGO but they do a awesome job at that.
