May 13, 2023Looked at Made in Chico as a real possibility to consign numerous pieces of custom painted children's furniture. All pieces were priced to sell & Management at MIC agreed that all were appropriately priced. After 6 months and several conversions with Management nothing was sold. Why?? Essentially MIC used the furniture to display all kinds of children's books, clothing, quilts, bows & hair clips etc. In fact 1 piece was buried under so many quilts at the time I went to pick up all pieces it took staff 10 minutes to locate. While it would have been mutually beneficial to MIC & Me to have items SELL it seemed it was more important to USE the furniture to DISPLAY other seller's inventory. So DISAPPOINTED & all pieces are now available for sale on Facebook Marketplace!
