Chico Parking Enforcement

Totally rude, parking ticket guy, as I walked up on him, he was giving me a ticket. Only minutes after it had just expired. A nice thirty minute trip to downtown made ruined. I won't be shopping there for a long while. Maybe it's paying for the campground there at city plaza where you can do anything without getting a fine. Totally, Totally, Ridiculous.

There are two main men who give out parking tickets in downtown Chico. You can find them wearing green with very serious looks on their faces (handing out parking tickets is very serious business). My friends and family always joke that I'm notorious for getting parking tickets, but I swear these guys get off on writing parking tickets. Even if you're literally running from your class to pay your meter and you're two minutes late, tough luck, because these guys are relentless. There's a parking lot across from Madison Bear Garden that they LOVE to hang around. One day, I parked and started walking over to pay for my spot. I kid you not, one of the guys in green walks over to my car, sees it's unpaid, and I have to run over and tell him to stop because I JUST parked and was trying to pay the meter. They're literally crazy. Yeah, I sound salty, but they've made so much money off me and other college students it's ridiculous. Find a hobby. Ya'll have managed to write me 5 parking tickets in a matter of a year.
