Campus Bicycles

So I purchased a bike helmet here and two days later I tried to return it as I did not need it. Reason- Doesn't matter. The guy that came to the desk to help me was the most condescending, uppity, nose in the air retail clerk I have ever had the fortune to come across. I explained 3 times, because I was asked 3 times why I was returning the merchandise. I didn't have to explain even once, but I did. The item was brand new, never been worn , in the box with all the tags. I stated I wanted to return it as I had only purchased it 2 days prior and he told me that store credit was all he would do for me. I told him I didn't want store credit, to please put the money back on the card I purchased it with. Nope, so I left with the receipt and no helmet, no refund, he kept both my money and the helmet. As far as I am concerned, that makes him a theif and his business practices less than honorable. I would not recommend ever doing any business with a place that practices these kinds of policies and employs such employees.

I brought my neglected 20 year old Trek bicycle in on a Saturday afternoon, and "Kelsey" looked it over briefly, found numerous problems that had cropped up over the past two decades and promised me that she could fix it. She said she'd call me with an estimate shortly, and she did. She gave me several options, including the relative cost of purchasing a new bike.
I got a call later that day saying that the bike was done. I was surprised since I had told her that I was not in a hurry. My bike feels brand new again.
And yes, Bud is still hanging about. Sadly I didn't get to say "hi", but I will stop by again to do that.
