Chico Regional Airport

Started out promising, then delays and now there's no more flights to SFO. Mixed blessing.

This is the tiniest, most back-woods style airport I have ever seen. I'm glad it allows me to see my parents, who live in the sticks, but how do airline agents not know what a KTN is? Why are their systems so old, they can't even attach my TSA Pre-check or GOES ID numbers to my ticket? Why is there NEVER anyone at the Hertz counter and it takes 30 minutes to help one person? Why doesn't security know that a laptop and notebook are essentially the same thing and a TABLET IS NOT A NOTEBOOK? Ugh.

But, you only have to arrive about 20 minutes before your scheduled flight, so for a perpetually-running-late person like myself, it makes it worth it to put up with minor frustrations... most of the time. I elected to fly into Sacramento and drive to Chico for the next few weekends. I just wasn't in the mood to hear, "We don't do that here" over and over again.
