Amtrak Station - Chico

This is my 1st, and LAST, trip with Amtrak. I don't really know what I was expecting, but this wasn't it. First of all, my train left from Chico, CA, where there was absolutely NO information about long-term parking. 2nd, I had NO idea that I would be waiting on a "platform" with NO people around except vagrants! Very scary!! Especially at 1:47 am! On the train, I was placed directly in front of an air-conditioning vent, which FROZE me overnight, and didn't help my arthritis! The bathroom was FILTHY, and the patrons on the train were seedy and all placed very close to one another!
I don't understand it. You expect ME to wear a mask, and yet you stand by a toilet that looks/smells like that one did?! Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.
Just a generally poor experience, honestly! If I hadn't left my car in Chico, I'd eat the return trip and fly home, but since money IS a big deal to me, I can't do that!
NEVER again! This has been a glorified Greyhound bus ride, if you ask me!

I wish I could give a zero .. the conductor for train 11 leaving at 3:50am from Chico ca to Phoenix Arizona was so unprofessional and rude. Because of him I will never use or recommend Amtrak again !! I was sitting in my car (it was cold) train came everyone got off others were loading lady was smoking and conductor was talking to guard ... 3:49 came and I got out ( he's still talking, lady still smoking) getting my bags out and he yells " I'm leaving in 15 seconds " it's now 3:50. Lady puts out smoke and jumps on. I'm running with my bags .. this employee shakes his head and got on the train an proceeded to leave ... are you kidding me .. I watched him leave, 10 seconds and I was there .. so two days later same train same time same everything and he's 20 minutes late .. unbelievable!!
