Computer House Calls

Ian is adept in repairing and/or upgrading both Macs and PCs and, as he worked on my iMac, also taught me computer things that I didn't know. I liked that he empowered me to do more on my computer! In addition to his technical expertise, I appreciated his calm and pleasing personality, his subtle sense of humor and especially his more than reasonable price. As a retired woman living alone, I also was reassured that he's a "safe" person because he's been forever married with two older teenage daughters. The computer upgrade Ian installed works flawlessly. He also eliminated annoying pop-ups and gave my iMac an overall tune-up. I would recommend his service to anyone, and will.

5 stars for Computer House Calls. I have an Apple laptop that was having troubles. It is old (in tech terms). Ian came to my home and realized that it needed some pretty significant updating, so he took it with him to work on it. At one point, I asked Ian if I should get a new laptop. He said no, that the Apple I have is a better piece of hardware than I could get for a reasonable amount of money (i.e. the amount I was willing to pay) for a new one. He updated it within a couple of days (remember: it is an old laptop) and it has been smooth sailing ever since. Ian is very knowledgeable, polite, and professional. His fee was reasonable and well worth it, especially considering the cost of a new, comparable laptop. Thank you, Ian!
