Genuine DBT

7/12 Genuine DBT blocked me from Facebook. They never said a word. Just blocked me and erased everything I sent. How validating.

7/12 - I got a DBT book to try to help myself, but reading the book reminds me of the experience here, and is rather triggering. I can't do it on my own. Not good. Like, even worse, who are these liars leaving 5 star reviews saying this cult helped them??!?! I am convinced that they are friends and family members of or are employees. It makes no sense. How an they abandon me but help all these other people?? Absolutely no sense.

7/3 - Still really upset and have no recourse or help. Why the fuck did you have to BE like this DBT??

Wants you to abandon any and all mental health professionals so they they can get paid by your insurance erm pardon me, I mean so that "no therapist says something and ruins your treatment". I was super open to DBT and even my therapist backed it up and I truly feel it could help me but they care more about getting paid then helping you. I now no longer can trust them.

There are sound devices that sound like someone dragging wet plastic while peeing a toilet bowl. It's very distracting and makes it difficult to think. I don't feel respected there, I feel like I put my trust in then enough to explain what is wrong with be, but they don't trust me enough to treat me so sadly, treatment was over before it ever began.

If you're like me and have issues trusting mental health professionals for whatever reason, this place will give you many reasons not to trust them.

My advice is if you want DBT to lie and say you don't already have a therapist, otherwise they will refuse to treat you.

If you ever decide that you'll treat me without forcing me to abandon my current therapist, call me.
