History
NVIH was founded more than 50 years ago by recognized Tribal Nations in partnership with Indian Health Services. Our consortium consists of the Mechoopda Indian Tribe of Chico Rancheria, the Grindstone Indian Rancheria, Kletsel Dehe Wintun Nation, and the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation.
NVIH is open to the public and provides care to all, whether you are Native American or a non-Native community member.

I have called over 12 times (in 3 weeks) trying to get referral info for my daughter. Nobody ever answered the phone. I have left at least 5 messages & I have never received a call back. We will not be going back there!!

I normally have nothing but great experiences here with my son. We've been with NVIH for the past 4 years and the staff is always so sweet, professional, and timely. I recently called medical records to see if something was possible and left the call choked up because the service I received was just plain mean with a smile slapped on it for no reason at all. It was more disappointing than anything, as I'm not used to that sort of service from their staff. I didn't mind being told no, in my eyes, it didn't hurt to ask. It was the delivery I received in being told no. It's not what you say, it's how you say it.
