History
Martin S. McHugh has been an attorney since 1984 having graduated from McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, CA a top tier ABA accredited law school. He moved to Butte County in 1989 and was originally with the firm Stewart, Humphreys, Burchette and Sandelman. He left in 1992 to start his own practice. In 2006 he joined with M. Melanie Howell to form HOWELL & McHUGH with a combined experience of over 50 years serving Butte and the surrounding counties.
