Ikkyu Japanese Restaurant

The rolls were delicious and nicely presented. The seaweed salad was good. We had the seared salmon roll, the Tina roll and the Rob roll. The seared salmon roll was great and I liked the Tina roll, too.
The server was attentive and friendly.
I miss the decorations that were in Japanese Blossoms, but the new light fixtures are nice.

Went here for lunch about a month ago. It was a late lunch on a weekday and we were the only patrons in the place which normally would make me nervous but it was a late lunch. That said the service was excellent! The food was also excellent and the fish very fresh. They really nailed the ambiance in this small space. The lighting not too bright but still bright enough to see the food your eating. Good choice of appropriate music playing lightly in the back ground. Our server, sorry forgot his name, was super nice and while he struggled a little with the English language he expressed his desire to learn more so he could speak better English. He asked me if I could help teach him to which I replied, "your asking the wrong hillbilly"! All in all a great experience and looking forward to going again today for lunch.
